I can’t think of a more rewarding place in this world than the place I have found myself.”

Dr. Benton graduated from Louisiana State University and Louisiana State University Medical School–Shreveport. She completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham inUpon graduation, she began her practice in here at St. Vincent’s in Birmingham.

Dr. Benton is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Jefferson County Medical Society. She is board certified by the American Board of OB/GYN as of December 2007.

Dr. Benton is married to a Birmingham native, and she and her husband are members of Our Lady  Of Sorrows Catholic church. She has two children, and keeps herself busy with her second job — being a mother!
