Dr. Pruett, a Huntsville native, earned her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and her medical degree from UAB. She completed her OB-GYN residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Dr. Pruett's interests include contraception, pregnancy care, and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. She believes that the field of OB-GYN is particularly meaningful because of the strong relationships we build with patients over time. She enjoys helping women navigate the many different facets of their care while providing compassionate, individualized support along the way.

When she's not at work, Dr. Pruett and her husband, Clay, enjoy traveling, cooking, enjoying the Birmingham food scene and spending time with friends and family.
