Mammography Mammography is imaging that utilizes low-dose x-ray for examination of the breast. Mammograms can be performed for screening or diagnostic purposes. Henderson & Walton Women’s Center uses Digital Mammography—the latest in state-of-the-art mammogram technology. And we also schedule mammogram appointments on Saturdays from 8am – 12 noon, for your convenience. return to top of page Non-Stress Testing / Fetal Monitoring At Henderson & Walton Women's Center we provide in-house non-stress testing / fetal monitoring. The non-stress test / fetal monitoring allows the physician to monitor the baby's heartbeat in the uterus. This non-invasive procedure is painless and is performed by using monitors outside the body. return to top of page Nutritional Counseling At Henderson & Walton Women's Center, nutritional counseling is offered by a Registered Dietitian, who is also a Certified Diabetes Educator. The counseling is offered through one-on-one sessions and/or group class settings. Education topics include: cholesterol education, weight control, polycystic ovarian disease, pre-diabetes, diabetes, hypertension, hypoglycemia, gestational diabetes, prenatal nutrition, pre-conception nutrition, and nutrition and diabetes-related topics. These waves are reflected off organs and are recorded to provide real-time visual images. At Henderson & Walton Women's Center we offer obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound services, including 4-D ultrasound. return to top of page
Bone density is an enhanced form of x-ray called Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA). The procedure is a quick, painless method of measuring bone loss to screen for osteoporosis. A DEXA scan lasts about 10 minutes, and exposes the patient to less radiation than a standard chest x-ray. At Henderson & Walton Women's Center, we can perform your bone density test at the office and most days the procedure can be scheduled with your office visit.

Henderson & Walton Women's Center's Infertility Department is available to provide limited infertility services for our patients.
We strive to treat each patient with compassion and understanding as they utilize this option. We offer a range of infertility services, including hormonal testing, ultrasound, monitoring of ovulation, and intrauterine insemination.
For lab tests ordered by a Henderson & Walton physician, patients can have blood drawn and tested in our onsite labs at Henderson & Walton Women's Center. Some of the lab tests that we perform are:
