Dr. George McGrady graduated from Spring Hill College where he was active in the Student Government Association. He received his medical degree and all his medical training at UAB. After working one year in Internal Medicine, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Before beginning private practice, he served two years in the U.S. Army with the rank of Major.
He has been in private practice for over thirty years. His special interests include treating the medical problems of the aging patient and the surgical problems of pelvic relaxation.
He is married to Diane and they have three adult children, Sean, Meredith and Erin. They spend their leisure time enjoying their grandchildren, travel, the outdoors and working for their church in many ministries including the Kairos Prison Ministry.
