Dr. Charles Hudson is active in the Alabama medical community and has lectured around the state on topics including hormonal management of menopause, oral contraceptives, and toxic shock syndrome. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Jefferson County Medical Society, and the Alabama Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Hudson received his M.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Carraway Methodist Medical Center. He has been meeting women’s medical needs in private practice since 1983.
He and his wife, Carolyn, have had six children, Elizabeth, Bill, Jennifer, Margaret, Rebecca, and Tim. Dr. Hudson and his family attend Shades Crest Baptist Church.
