By providing professional medical care, as well as compassion and concern for patients, Dr. Brenda Carter Taylor is sensitive to the changing medical needs of women.
A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Taylor is committed to providing advanced medical care for women. She received her undergraduate degree from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, Mississippi, and a Master of Science in biology from Jackson State University.
Upon receiving her Medical Doctorate from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, Dr. Taylor completed a one year internship and a three year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile where she was Chief OB/GYN Resident.
Dr. Taylor’s husband, Robert, is a native of Birmingham. They have three children, Robert, Christopher Michael and Myrah Elizabeth.
